Junior Quality Assurance Engineer (Student / Entry-Level)

We’re looking for a junior or student who is finishing their studies and is ready to start a career in Quality Assurance. If you’re meticulous, curious, and excited about finding issues before users do, this role is a great entry point into professional QA work within real agile teams and large-scale digital projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Review user stories and tasks to understand expected behavior and prepare structured test cases.
• Perform manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing with strong attention to detail.
• Log defects with clear steps, evidence, and expected vs. actual behavior.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product owners during sprint activities.
• Keep test documentation organized in Jira and Confluence.
• Participate in release testing across environments and help ensure product quality.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn automation testing (bonus, not required).

What We’re Looking For

• Student in the final year of a technical, IT, or related program (or recently graduated).
• Strong analytical thinking, precision, and passion for problem-solving.
• Interest in software testing and understanding how products work behind the scenes.
• Familiarity with SDLC and basic QA concepts (test types, defect lifecycle).
• Ability to write simple, structured test cases and clear bug reports.
• Good communication skills in English, written and spoken.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools is a plus.
• Motivated, responsible, and eager to learn from experienced QA engineers.
• Bonus: curiosity about test automation or basic scripting knowledge.
