Role Overview
As a PPC & SEO Specialist, you’ll work on custom digital projects for international clients, with a strong focus on Google Ads and Meta Ads, and a solid understanding of SEO fundamentals. You’ll help plan, execute, and optimize campaigns, support SEO initiatives, and work closely with analytics and implementation experts to make sure everything is measured properly.
This is a remote role, with options to work from our office, and with close collaboration across product, content, and engineering teams. Partial availability during US Pacific Time (PT) working hours is required. Key Responsibilities
PPC – Google Ads & Meta Ads
- Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns across Google channels, depending on the project and funnel stage.
- Build and maintain complex account structures
- Set up and optimize Meta Ads campaigns (conversion, lead generation, remarketing, custom/lookalike audiences).
- Monitor performance, identify opportunities, and implement iterative improvements to hit KPIs
SEO Support
- Assist with on-page SEO: titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, content optimization.
- Support keyword research and mapping for landing pages, blogs, and category pages.
- Help review technical basics (indexation, redirects, simple canonical issues) under guidance from senior SEO.
- Collaborate with content and dev teams to align SEO recommendations with user experience and business goals.
Analytics & Tracking
- Work with Google Analytics 4 to review performance reports and understand key metrics (sessions, conversions, funnels, assisted conversions).
- Use Google Tag Manager to help implement and verify basic tags, triggers, and variables (with senior support for advanced setups).
- Read and use Looker Studio dashboards to analyze campaigns and SEO performance and prepare simple summaries or insights.
Collaboration & Process
- Work closely with senior SEO/PPC specialists, project managers, and developers on shared roadmaps.
- Contribute to documentation in tools like Confluence or similar (checklists, campaign structures, tracking specs).
- Participate in regular standups, reviews, and planning sessions in an Agile/Scrum-like environment.
What We’re Looking For
- You have hands-on experience with Google Ads and or Meta Ads, and you have already run campaigns with mid to larger budgets.
- You know how to navigate the interfaces, set up targeting, and read performance metrics.
- You have a solid grasp of SEO fundamentals and you understand what makes a page SEO-friendly, such as titles, headings, content, internal links, and basic technical hygiene.
- You understand the conceptual differences between on-page SEO, off-page SEO, and technical SEO.
- You are comfortable with analytics tools and you have experience with Google Analytics, whether UA or GA4, using standard reports to check traffic and conversions.
- You have a structured and detail-oriented mindset and you pay attention to naming conventions, URLs, UTMs, and consistency.
- You communicate and collaborate well, and you can clearly explain what you are doing and why.
- You are comfortable receiving feedback and you are not afraid to ask questions.
- You have a growth mindset and you are willing to learn more advanced topics over time, such as technical SEO, complex tracking setups, dataLayer events, and feeds.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Google Tag Manager (setting up basic tags and triggers).
- Familiarity with GA4 events and conversions, and an interest in learning more about measurement and attribution.
- Any exposure to Looker Studio (or similar BI/reporting tools).
- Experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, or similar.
- Previous work on eCommerce projects (webshops, feeds, Merchant Center, multi-country or multi-language setups).
