SAP ECC Business Analyst

Role Overview

We’re hiring a SAP ECC Business Analyst who can bridge business needs and technical delivery across multiple ECC modules. You’ll own discovery, process design, functional specs, testing, and go-live readiness for initiatives spanning Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Plan-to-Produce, Finance/Controlling, Logistics, and Quality. This role requires working standard business hours in the Pacific Time (PST) zone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery workshops; map current/future processes (BPMN/flowcharts); capture business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate requirements into Functional Specs and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria; partner with ABAP/integration teams on technical designs.
  • Configure light functional settings or coordinate with module consultants (SD, MM, PP, QM, PM, WM/EWM, FI/CO, LE, PS) to implement changes.
  • Orchestrate E2E testing: test strategy, scripts, data, SIT/UAT, and defect triage through to closure.
  • Support integrations and data flows (IDoc, BAPI/RFC, middleware like PI/PO or SAP Cloud Integration/SCPI); manage partner and API requirements.
  • Drive cutover planning, data validation, and hypercare; document SOPs, training, and knowledge articles.
  • Analyze production issues (table lookups, logs, IDoc monitoring) and coordinate fixes via structured change management.
  • Maintain a healthy backlog: grooming, prioritization, release notes, and stakeholder comms.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years in SAP ECC as a BA or Functional Consultant with cross-module exposure.
  • Strong grasp of core processes (OTC, P2P, P2M, Inventory/WM/EWM, FI/CO); ability to navigate ECC objects (tables, transactions, IDocs, BAPIs).
  • Proven delivery of requirements → specs → tested solutions → production, in iterative or agile environments.
  • Comfortable with data & testing: crafting scenarios, validating results, basic SQL/Excel, and ECC table checks (SE16N/SE11).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills in English.
  • Availability to work core hours in PST.
  • Nice to Have
    • Experience with SAP Commerce/Hybris flows and ECC integration via SCPI/PI-PO.
    • Exposure to authorization design (roles/profiles) and basic GRC concepts.
    • Familiarity with S/4HANA readiness (fit-to-standard, remediation planning).
    • Tooling: Solution Manager/ChaRM, Jira/Confluence, test management (e.g., Tricentis/Tosca), BPMN tools (e.g., Signavio/Visio).
    • Basic understanding of pricing, credit management, ATP, MRP, batch/serial, and tax integrations.

What We Offer

  • Fully remote position with a collaborative, supportive team.
  • Flexibility, as long as you’re reachable and able to attend meetings during US Pacific Time working hours.
  • Competitive salary.
  • Benefits: Multisport (fitness program) and supplementary health insurance.
  • Tailor-made career path (individual development aligned with your goals).
  • A culture that values diversity, experimentation, and continuous learning.
