Business Analyst / Product Owner
About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Product Owner to join Cyber64 and connect business needs, user expectations, and technical delivery.
You’ll work on web-based solutions and system integrations, helping stakeholders define problems, clarify priorities, and turn complex requirements into clear, actionable work. You’ll take ownership of analysis and product planning, supporting teams throughout the product lifecycle — from discovery to delivery and continuous improvement.
This role involves daily stakeholder communication and requires at least four hours of overlap with US Pacific Time working hours.
What you’ll do
Plan and lead business analysis activities, stakeholder interviews, and discovery workshops.
Identify business needs, question assumptions, investigate root causes, and connect proposed solutions to customer value.
Translate requirements into detailed, structured functional specifications, user stories, and supporting documentation.
Ensure clients and development teams share a clear understanding of what needs to be implemented and why.
Prepare work for development teams and drive changes and workstreams with stakeholders.
Plan and manage product roadmaps, align stakeholder expectations, and track delivery against agreed plans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and implementation partners, managing dependencies across teams and departments.
Work closely with designers to improve usability and maintain alignment with the broader product vision.
Support technical discussions involving architecture, databases, integrations, data migration, and APIs.
Participate throughout the product lifecycle, including discovery, implementation, testing, delivery, maintenance, and further development.
Research relevant business domains, technologies, markets, and industry trends to inform decisions.
What we’re looking for
8+ years of experience in Business Analysis, preferably on web-based solutions and system integrations.
Strong ownership, accountability, and professional communication skills.
Excellent analytical and logical thinking, active listening, and the confidence to challenge decisions constructively.
Excellent spoken and written English for daily stakeholder collaboration.
A proactive, independent approach to planning analysis activities and preparing work for delivery.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to connect individual requirements to customer value and the wider product context.
Experience collaborating across teams and departments, including external vendors and implementation partners.
Strong experience writing clear, detailed, and unambiguous requirements, functional specifications, documentation, and user stories.
Technical understanding of logical architecture, databases, integrations, data migration, and APIs.
Experience working in agile teams and adapting to changing priorities, with familiarity with frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
Experience collaborating with designers and contributing to UX improvements.
Experience planning and managing product roadmaps.
Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
Availability for at least four hours of overlap with US Pacific Time working hours for workshops and client collaboration. For someone based in Central Europe, this typically means availability around 16:00–20:00 or 17:00–21:00 local time, depending on agreed schedules and seasonal clock changes.
Bonus points
Experience with Content Management Systems, particularly Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites and AEM Guides.
Experience in manufacturing, including CNC products, services, or processes.
Formal knowledge of Business Analysis practices, including BABOK.
Business Analysis certifications such as CCBA, CBAP, or PMI-PBA.
Product Owner or Scrum certifications from Scrum Alliance, Scrum.org, or another recognised provider.
Knowledge of SEO, analytics, product discovery, and the design process from initial ideas to high-fidelity designs.
Availability for more than four hours of overlap with US Pacific Time working hours.
What we offer
Remote work with flexibility in where you work.
Flexible working hours, coordinated with your team and project needs.
Additional and supplementary health insurance after successfully completing your probation period.
A monthly transport and meal allowance.
Clear, structured onboarding, with regular progress check-ins and guidance as you settle into your role.
A highly supportive team and open, transparent communication — we aim to make this the most supportive and transparent workplace you’ve experienced.
Real ownership and room to grow in a supportive environment where you’re encouraged to take responsibility, ask questions, and learn from mistakes.
